I don't know the why of it, but my light switches from a green to a flashing blue when the 3.5 mm audio cable is disconnected from my computer. When the cable is connected the speakers default to a wired connection. When the cable is disconnected the speakers switch to a Bluetooth pairing mode. A solid blue light means that a successful Bluetooth connection has been made. Check the quality of the cable connection at the PC, or maybe the wire has been loosened inside the speaker.

If this continues to be an issue, can you connect to another aux device and see if the issue persists. If it persists, take the stereo system back into Best Buy, to the Geek Squad counter, with the receipt for warranty evaluation.
