The Bluetooth symbol is universal, it's appearance is the same on ALL Bluetooth devices. Quality is basically the same , only difference is the ability of the devices to pick up & transmit the signal.Hope this helps you. PANAMA

Entering your laptops's model number into search will likely fetch information about your laptop. Alternatively, look in "Devices and Hardware"

Probably no difference in quality though besides NO BT with the powered system... Definetly go with this though... If ur computer has bluetooth it will hookup... Or use aux input... These speakers emit several loud annoying beeps every time you have to reconnect the Blutooth connection. It seems like it loses connection daily, so image that. I can no longer appreciate the sound because of the beeping. I hate these speakers now. And I got the 59.99 version. What a rip off!

My Bluetooth icon looks like to triangles laying sideways touching. They can also sometimes look like sounds coming from a system or a radio tower. Usually they are blue in color.
