“Why is auto shutoff a description as a features if it doesn’t shutoff it just switches to warm and you have to unplug to turn off?”

This one does not auto switches off. It rather goes to warm mode once the cooking is completed.

When finished serving, turn the rice cooker off by unplugging the power cord. Rice should not be left in the inner cooking pot with the Keep-Warm function on for more than 12 hours. Unplug the rice cooker when it’s not in use.
