QuestionIs there any way to change how the doors stay open rather than naturally close? You have to really push them past a resistance point in order for them to close. This seems counter intuitive for a refrigerator.

- Answer Insignia. This is a Best Buy house brand. Per Google, it is manufactured by Haier, a Chinese company that purchased the appliance division of GE. So it is probably basically a GE with a different name.

- Answer No. That is a significant drawback but one we were willing to live with at this price point. The shelf height and spacing are just fine for everyday use.
