Hi Mikie, thank you for letting us know your concern. This refrigerator is frost free, so you don't need to defrost it. If frost forms because of a change in season or temperature, you can manually remove it by unplugging the refrigerator or wiping with a dry towel. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
