“Do I have to use the app to control temperature? Also, will the temperature alarm beep on the freezer or does only the app alert you? We live in the country and have very slow internet service, I'd rather not use my WIFI for the freezer.”

I did not know about an app for this unit, you can program the temp right in the unit itself. I was wondering why and what was wifi compatible in the unit. We don't use the wifi either.
