The answer by Insignia is incorrect. The temp displayed on the panel is the TARGET temperature. It is NOT the actual temperature.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We just had ours arrive today and what we are seeing is the temperature that is displayed on the outside of the refrigerator is what the inside temperature is set to, not what the actual inside temperature actually is. For instance when we plugged in the freezer for the first time the display showed 0 F immediately, so it was the default temperature that was set, not the actual temperature. Also the temperature only seems to be displayed when the freezer door is opened, we were hoping that it would display constantly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, Keith. The internal temperature is, in deed, displayed on the front of the unit. Cesar G. - Insignia Support
