A:AnswerBought 2 about a month ago. One was set as fridge. Keeps temperature at 37 deg. F. No issues so far with this unit.
The other unit was set as freezer. Froze well but did not defrost. Called in and unit was replaced. New unit did not work as freezer or as fridge. Lost most frozen food. Called in and unit replaced. New unit has been keeping below zero for a little over a week.. Keeping fingers crossed.

A:AnswerIt's auto so that the pipes don't freeze up and one less thing to worry about. The actual defrost is a pretty quick process and is very unnoticable.
A:AnswerI do not know, but it’s a good question. We bought this freezer as we just bought a whole beefalo and I’m almost afraid that the glass shelves are going to break as all the shelves are bowed. I think I will be seeing if I can get the thicker wire shelving, I’ve never had them now in the middle.
