• A:Answer When plugged to 115v X 1.1 Amp (from description) draws 126.5 run-watts. The start-spike on cold appliances is commonly around 800 to 1000 watts for a split second, if considering running off battery power; this might be a good option for thrifty energy use. Only a chest freezer uses a chunk less; I run a plain basic chest freezer (100 run-watts) as a fridge, w/ a mechanical pin timer, w/ only 5 pins pulled equal around the clock. 2 of those ran on a GZ Li1400 battery setup, just fine.

• A:Answer Hello Miguel! Thank you for your question. You can change the temperature in Insignia - 10.1 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator by pressing the temperature setting button inside the fridge. Each press moves the setting one step at a time. The fridge starts on Medium (LED 3) by default. After you choose your new setting, the refrigerator will switch to that temperature automatically after about 25 seconds. The LEDs from left to right represent warmer → colder, so just pick the level that works best for you. Darshan | Insignia
