Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There's a right way to fit in the shaft of the foot on that TV hole please take a close look to the geometry of the piece. Once is in there correctly just use your screw driver as usual.

On our site, insigniaproducts.com, you can search for your model number and get to the product page. Once you are on the product page you can look at the User manual under the downloads tab. Attaching the stands starts on page 5 of the manual. If the stands will still not line up and you cannot get them connected, the best option is to return and exchange the TV within the 15 day return period.
