• Yes, this TV has a tuner in it that will scan for all local channels. If you have good signals in your area, the TV will find them in the scan process.

• You can receive all broadcast channels with an antenna attached. The number of stations you get will depend on your physical location relative to the broadcasting antenna and the type of antenna you choose. You may also need an in line amplifier to boost the antenna signals. The coax cable has to be connected to something or you won't get any signal. If you're close to a strong signal the cable may act as an antenna.
