Is the stand stable? null

Yes. I have this TV sitting on top of a set of PLANO plastic storage sheves, the heavy duty version of the PLANO shelves, not the cheap ones, and even up there it's plenty stable. I did put a piece of heavy cardboard on the top shelf to set the TV on, as these shelves do have holes through them. I can walk around the room or put something on or take it off the shelves and the TV doesn't even wobble, which is something I was kind of worried about, and almost bought a wall mount just to avoid a potential problem, but it's fine.

Stand is sturdy but there were no mounting aces included
