“The height of this unit is listed as 33.8", but the required cutout height is listed as 35.0". Is this accurate? It seems to be a substantial difference between product and cutout heights when compared to other Insignia DW's (NS-DWR2SS8, for example.)”

I'm answering my own question: according to the installation guide: "The rough cabinet opening must be at least 24 in. (61 cm) deep and 34 in. (86.4 cm) high. • For the front door of the dishwasher to be flush with the front edge of the countertop, the countertop must be 25 in. (63.5 cm) deep."

Please try again later.as an installer for this dishwasher, 34 in is a very tight fit for insinia it's a flat bottom unit and it forces you to put the electric line and water line under the unit and the channels they provide are not very good pretty advanced install, with not a lot of room to work
