We've had ours for just 2 months and end of the ice feeder shaft shattered where it connects to the motor. Insignia will not replace it under warranty because "this will not be considered a manufacturer defect since the part was damaged during normal use." ????? I'll be fighting this. A part should NOT break after 2 months of normal use. So far the rest of the unit seems to be ok but time will tell. Hopefully this is not a common problem but I am more disappointed with customer service than the broken part. Good luck.

Please try again later.I am so disappointed with BestBuy and Insignia I have yet to enjoy my refrigerator using my ice maker all I'm asking for is for you guys to come out and fix the icemaker how hard is that I don't want my refrigerator replaced I just want my ice maker to work this is gone on way too long way too long and I'm tired of calling to see why I can't get a response to this I would like someone to call me I don't do emails I don't like doing emails that's so impersonal to me I rather speak to someone on the phone or do I have to go inside the store please call me back regarding this all I want is my ice maker fixed it's a warranty on the refrigerator my phone number is area code 661-431-7236 going on way too long
