• On mine the reset was to hold the Power and the Fixed Point button for 7 seconds. The remote screen came back to life and the chair works.

• Push the power and the "Fixed point" button at the same time. You can also try unscrewing the remote from the back and then screwing it back in.

• Maybe keep a flashlight near the chair? I can see mine just fine except in the dark

• Try disconnecting the remote by unscrewing the connector from the base of the chair, behind, where the cable from the remote connects. Pull it out, and then reconnect it, and screw it back in.
