I found the silent option by accident. If you hold down the “Times” button near the top it does mute the beeps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We just figured it out. Holding down the “times” button didn’t work. You have to take the back off the remote and remove the speaker. The speaker in our remote was a small, round, black gizmo that protruded up off the flat surface. My husband simply used needle nose pliers and gently twisted and lifted it off. Getting the back off the remote was the hardest part. We had 4 screws covered by black round sticker things. Gently, very gently, pry the back off after you remove the screws. Try to go around evenly so you don’t snap it in half.
