“How do I attach the handle? My retro fridge just arrived today and the handles are not sliding in all the way in, they are only halfway on and still a little wiggly. Is there a trick for installing them?”

I covered them with a hand towel and tapped them into place with a rubber mallet. It only took a couple of lite taps. They are quite secure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine just won't go in by hand no matter how much force is applied. It will not go on far enough to engage the clip. IT WILL NOT GO ON. I have used all of my hand and arm strength and it doesn't even get close enough to engage with the clip. Unfortunately I do not have a mallet as was suggested, but it appears the force needed to push it on exceeds the force that will break the plastic.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You just have to get a good angle and push them in until they snap into place. One of mine was super easy, the other one took some finagling to get it into place.
