• A:Answer This has one setting for the fridge located within the fridge. You turn it up to engage the freezer temp and then turn back down again once the freeer reaches the desired temp. Freezes my ice cream hard as a rock without freezing the cans of pop inside my fridge. i have put meat in freezer and fridge and had no problems. Both get good and cold! Love my little fridge!

Q: QuestionHas anyone else seen only the freezer get cold, but the bottom fridge part not? I just started my new unit up, following directions (sitting 4 hours first), but after an hour the temperature hasn't budged in the lower chamber. TIA for any input.

• A:Answer Both parts of mine worked fine almost immediately. I accidentally started mine up for a little bit right out of the box before I noticed the instruction to wait 4 hours. I could tell both sections were cooling immediately. I unplugged it and waited 4 hours, and it works fine. I have a small refrigerator thermometer that I tried in both compartments. The lower compartment holds steady around 39-40 degrees, and the freezer gets down to -16F!

• A:Answer It requires defrosting, more energy efficient that way. It comes with a little plastic scraper. I haven't had to use it yet, but it's only been 2 weeks.

• A:Answer I would see if you can get it shipped for free. You do not want it tipped at all due to the compressor. I had mine delivered and it was upright from day one according to the driver. The nice delivery man even helped me unpack it and it's easy to move. The reason it needs to stay upright is the "oil" or "fluid" of the compressor needs to settle back. If tipped, etc. you need to wait 24 hrs (not sure on the small ones) until you can plug it in.
