Hello, thank you for your question. This mini fridge is designed for freestanding use and needs proper airflow around the sides, back, and top. Building cabinets tightly around it can trap heat and affect performance. If you plan to place it in a cabinet style space, be sure to leave generous clearance on all sides for ventilation.
