“How much ventilation space does it need on each side? Can I push it right up against a wall at the back, if the right side is open? It looks like the vent is on the right side in the pictures.”

Its manual asks to allow 6 inches of space between the back and sides of the freezer and any grounding walls for proper ventilation.
