“When adding the liquid softener or detergent is it supposed to leak out the bottom into the washer tub?”

• Don't know for sure. Just got the washer but I think it has leaked a little. Compartment is huge and I don't overfill it. I don't use softener.

• actually we just pour the liquid detergent directly on the laundry....only use the tray for powder and softener

• The fabric softener and detergent compartments have a water inlet for the products to flow directly into the tub.

• I don't know but it happens to me also especially when adding fabric softener, if I only use a little fabric softener it doesn't leak out ,same with detergent . ( Hopefully someone else will know the answer )

• Im having the same issue. They both run out of the compartments and right into the tub as I pour them in. I don't understand if I'm doing something incorrectly???

• Water flows through that pan and dispenses the softener or powered detergent into the washer tub.
