Mine makes some loud cutting noises when the load is unbalanced and kind of a loud noise when the load is filled with water too, I think that’s normal. As long as they’re watching the clothes, OK?

The loud popping or thud sound you're hearing when your Insignia washer finishes filling is likely caused by your home's plumbing, not the washer itself. This is a common issue known as "water hammer," where sudden valve shutoff creates a pressure surge in the pipes. It's especially common in homes with older or high-pressure plumbing.
