Yes the drain line is small enough to fit into a 1” pipe

High Efficiency Top-Loading Washer has specific drainage requirements to ensure proper operation. The recommended height for the standpipe is 48 inches (122 cm), which helps prevent siphoning and ensures efficient drainage. The washer’s drain hose must be routed through the included hose holder and securely placed into the standpipe. Additionally, the standpipe must be wide enough to accommodate the outside diameter of the drain hose, which is typically around 1 inch to 1.25 inches. Since your pipe is 1.5 inches, it meets the size requirement and should work well with this washer, provided it is installed at the correct height and is properly vented. Keith | Insignia Support
