A:AnswerThe water level reaches as high as the holes in the machine.
I haven't tried to put clothes in after the water has started to fill, but you are unable to pause so the door can unlock.
A:AnswerI see there is no one who answered your question--- the belt for the Insignia probably shredded because it was installed backwards. We had the same problem. But the belt is also extremely tight. So far we have not been able to repair it. We purchased the identical belt but it seems nearly impossible to reinstall it. Looking at the drive pulley it appears that there are 4 alignment holes that a fixture probably can attach - this fixture likely has an arm that gives enough leverage to allow the belt to be installed.
A:AnswerI also looked for a permanent press but there is not one specified. However, it does not seem to matter what cycle I put it on. As long as I use warm water or cold. It does an excellent job on permanent press. Or you could use delicate cycle if you are concerned.
A:AnswerThere is a button under the "water level" section. You press it until it reaches the level you desire. Personally, I leave it on AUTO. It's a great feature this machine has. It senses how much water is needed to save on water
A:AnswerThe supply hoses are the same connection as a garden hose but, get the stainless steel braided hoses specifically for a washing machine. They have a 20 year or more rating. HD has the Certified Appliance Accessories Brand 2-pack for $19.. That is what I got. My new Insignia washing machine has the plastic debris screens already built in so my plumber said don't use any extra filter screens just the washers of course already inside the hoses...
A:AnswerContact Best buy or the manufacturer for that information. Or better yet reading is essential and can be done on the specifications of the washer on the Best buy website.
