Yes. This works ideally for making space for the large block type plugs. Keep in mind when using this on a UPS, that if the wire you are using is a THREE splitter that the three items will be drawing from the same port in the UPS, and some of your UPS Ports are designed to stay on after power goes out and others are designed to simply not surge, so be sure the three items are adaptable to the outlet you plug into on your UPS. (Constant on or Surge only).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You must mean a power strip with a built in surge suppressor. This will easily take the place of that with out any interference. Most UPS devices already have a surge protector built into them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is known as Daisy chaining. The issue was is that Daisy chaining can cause a serious fire risk if the original surge protector becomes overloaded.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That format would never be recommended by UL or OEM.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes deffinetly. This is very handy for those large plugs. I have it exactly for that and no issue at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Usually you are not recommended to plug a power strip into a UPS so you do not over load the UPS. They rate a UPS up time by the plugs on the UPS. Adding a power strips add many more devices not accounted for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i would think UPS and surge protectors have similar functions in regards to electrical surge and therefore it would be redundant and possible cause a malfunction with the UPS, but yes this is a simple dumb extension cord, and should cause no issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most UPS units have built in surge protection,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.UPS I believe are always also Surge protector, and if you daisy chain surge protectors they end up fighting each other and can degrade you energy which is opposite of what you are aiming for anyway. Also I would guess there is a fear of people daisy chaining to many and over loading the circuit.
