“I've only had this for 4 months and it smells terrible ( like wet socks). The filters are clean, and it's a fairly new unit so I don't understand. Any ideas on how to fix this? The smell is awful.”

We are very sorry to hear what happened to you. Please take your AC outside and open the lower/upper drain. Then set the AC to fan mode and let it run for 60min.
