“When I turn the tv on there is no sound, if I turn up the volume it does nothing but when I hit mute, and I have to hit it 2x, the sound comes on. Why doesn't the sound come on when I turn the tv on??”

Check for Ext audio settings in your settings. Make sure it is set to tv and not on external speakers.
