“My remote seems to not be working with the unit. Batteries are new and everytime I turn on the power from the remote every symbol comes up but the AC doesn't turn on. Any help?”

Turn the AC unit on, then turn the remote on. This will pair them. Once paired the remote will work anytime you need it to.
