Portable Air Conditioner is equipped with a self-evaporating system, which means it automatically evaporates most of the condensation it generates while cooling. This feature significantly reduces the need for manual draining under normal conditions. However, in environments with high humidity, the unit may still collect more moisture than it can evaporate, causing the internal reservoir to fill up. In such cases, you might need to manually drain the water using the bottom drain port. That said, it’s not typical to have to empty it every 20 minutes—if that’s happening, it could be due to unusually high humidity or a drainage issue.
