• It depends on the mode you use. Auto will keep the fan running constantly, while "cool" will turn the fan off once your temp is reached. It should be noted that the fan may still turn on briefly/periodically in cool mode to assess temperatures.

• You can set it so the fan stays on once the desired temp is reached. But the fan is much quieter than the ac and can be jarring if your a light sleeper
