“I've had this tv a little over a year and the picture went out. I have sound and can still use Alexa to play music on YouTube but it's a black screen. How do I fix this or do I need to buy a new one.”

Call a good tv shop and ask them,sounds like the back lights went out. Hold a bright-! flash-light up to the screen , look for a picture , then you will know.....
