“When Dish receiver connected via HDMI picture is small. In display settings there is an option for picture size but it is grayed out. Changing picture mode or HDMI connection makes no difference. Screen size adjusted good per Dish settings. Annoying!”

Try pressing the "format" button that is located near the bottom left of my remote, just above the "swap" button. That switches between different picture sizes for me. Good Luck!
