I would check with the service provider who went from cable to optic cable. There's no reason for them (the TVs) not to work going from cable to optic cable.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.With our tv, when the sound wasn't working, we clicked on the home button on the remote, then chose settings, then chose input, then chose HDMI. It would go immediately back to the program with sound. Hope that helps.
