“39" insignia tv is stuck on one channel. it will not scroll up or down using my tv remote. Is that an internal tv problem?”

I connected to my Comcast cable and when I turned it on and used the remote that came with the set, only one channel worked even after I did a scan - then realized I had to use the Comcast Infinity controller to select channels. Remote that comes with TV will turn TV on/off, but if you're on cable, use the cable company's remote for channel changes.

If it's still under warranty, get it serviced. But first, try replacing the remote's batteries. Low batteries can cause weird behavior. After replacing the battery, if it still doesn't work, try taking the remote in to your local Best Buy store and try it on their display TVs. The fault could be in either the remote or the tv, there's no way to tell without checking a few things first.
