- Answer On inside back wall? It does not have auto defrost so after a couple months need to manually defrost (take everything out and unplug for about 2 days make sure you do it will water dont make a mess)

- Answer I had the same problem. Thought the compressor went out. It didn't, I did not turn it off (0) on dial before I unplugged it. You need to do that, unplug it and then wait a day. Plug it back in and turn on the dial to the degree of cold you would like. If this doesn't work, contact Best Buy and they will work something out for you.

QuestionI would like to use this in an insulated garage in Minneapolis. Insignia support previously stated in this section that it's good between 10F-100F but the manual purportedly says between 50-85F. Which is it?

- Answer The optimal temps for this fridge to run well/with no issues is the 50-85F in the manual. The fridge will still work between 10-100F, but it will struggle and use a lot more electricity to maintain internal temperatures.

- Answer Don't understand your question. Like any temperature controlled system, the refrigerator would reach the temperature set, then the motor and compressor would turn off, until the temperature exceeds the setting, at which point both would turn on again until the set temperature is reached again. This repeats indefinitely.

- Answer Not quite sure on the power usage however it is energy star certified meaning it uses 25to30% less power than products of the same size. Also it does require its own outlet according to the user guide.
