YES, The only problem you might encounter is the Ground connection on this unit is in the way. it is in a bad location. I wished they just had a green wire sticking out of the box. or all three wires sticking out of the box would be better. Mine is ganged with a GFI outlet. I am happy i bought it as it is on the kitchen counter bar section very convenient and happy i bought it.

Pretty tight as depth of charger uses a lot of space. If you have a fair amount of wire in the existing receptacle box then I would say no.

I didn't try this but because of the size I don't think it will (not sure though). Either way it's really great product, I eliminated four phone plugs and I am very happy with this outlet
