QuestionIf you plug it into a USB, does it turn on instantly? I want to put on a Home Automation On/Off power switch. I would want it to come on at the brightness that I chose prior and not have to push the wired remote buttons to set each time power is turned on

- Answer IT HAS AN ON/OFF SWITCH THAT REMEMBERS ITS SETTING. IF YOU LEAVE IT ON, WHEN THE USB PORT IS POWERED ON 'SUCH AS TURNING YOUR TV ON' IT WILL LIGHT UP. AND VICE VERSA ITLL TURN OFF WHEN THE PORT LOSES POWER WHEN TV IS TURNED OFF. THE BRIGHTNESS SETTING IS ALSO REMEMBERED.

To be quite honest with you, if it is attached directly to the wall, most likely the adhesive tape will pull off paint if removed, specially if delicate paint. - Answer Yes. White is one of the colors. There’s 20 different colors that are toggled through each time u press the color button. More like a few different shades of 5 or 6 colors. There’s 3 buttons. One for color, one for brightness and a power button. My girlfriend loves it

QuestionI purchased 2 of these when I bought a LG Oled B7 last year n I put it behind the new TV n plugged it n2 the USB it works but I have to turn it off n on by hand it won't turn on n off with the TV. The other light is plug into my old LG n works fine. Help

- Answer I have the 6-foot non-color version of this LED light strip plugged into my LG OLED C7 display and it turns on when I turn on my display; however, it doesn't immediately turn off with the display, but does turn off by itself - usually in 30 minutes or so.

QuestionThese lights work great except they don't dim at all. I bought two 16 foot LED strips and neither will dim. All other buttons and features on the remote work fine.

- Answer It took me a while to figure out how to dim the lights, but i found out how it worked for me: When a color is selected, keep the brightness up/down key to dim the lights. It takes a couple of seconds to notice any difference, but I will eventually notice it if I keep it pressed. When a display mode is selected, brightness cannot be adjusted, as the brightness up/ down buttons only affect the speed that the lights change instead of the brightness. There is a Fade display mode that brightens up and down, but that is the only option that dims at all.

- Answer It will depend on the positioning of the light strip and your proximity to its installation. The more 'exposed' the strip - the more it will "light" an area. It is primarily intended as an accent, but it could easily be applied in a manner to provide sufficient light for reading. That said, there are FAR more optimal lighting mechanisms for reading, and I would seek one of those conventions as opposed to a tape-light.

To address your inquiries, there are 150 LEDs spread over the lenght of the LED tape light and it can be cut. The cut marks are every third LED, which is approximately 6 inches. QuestionIf I bought two or three of these could you program them onto a single remote so we don't have to use multiple remotes ?? I want to separate them onto different items so I don't want to cross the room with one extra long one.
