• One side will connect to the normal hdmi port, the miniature side will connect to your portable projectors cameras or computers (if newer) and phones.

• For this particular cord ..1 side is a full size HDMI...1 side is an HDMI mini...check the spec sheet online for what you are trying to connect to your tv to see what you need..the tv will most likely be full size HDMI..a computer/tablet may have an HDMI..an HDMI mini..or an HDMI micro..or no HDMI ports at all...double check the spec sheet online if you are unable to visually confirm what you need
