Actually, it DOES NOT work. I purchased one based on the first answer I got. When I picked it up at the store, I immediately went out to my car and installed it. It would not let me charge my phone while listening to music on my travel stick. I took it back inside the store and got a refund. The store associates told me this device would need a driver to work in my car. Supposedly it would work on my laptop because the laptop has a driver for it. But my car doesn't have a driver for it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say that if all your devices require using a USB port, then this should solve your problems. Of course, you would have to plug the Insignia 4-port hub in to your car USB port first, and attach your USB music device connector into one of the four ports on the 4-port hub. There should be three additional USB ports available for your wife to use if her device requires a standard USB port to charge her phone. If all your devices require USB connectors, you should have no interruptions and no issues. Hope this helps and good luck!
