“I purchased an LG dvd writer that requires 1,6 amp. Will this hub power it ? I was told I would have to have a Y cable with 2 standard usb plugs to supply the power because usb 3.0 supplies .900 amp (900 ma) per jack. So you need 2 to supply power writer”
