“Wil this hub work for me? My OS is WIndows7 64 bit. Just returned a usb 3.0 powered hub to Monoprice that failed to install. First time ever for me that a usb hub didn't install, but Windows7 is/was waay long ago. Updating the OS is not an option.”

I would think it would. I use it on older iMacs and it works great. My iMacs are from 2012, and it works fine on them. They are before Windows 7 came out I believe. So they are older than Windows 7, maybe. I can't remember for sure. This powered port actually works great on my older iMacs. I am probably going to buy another one.
