“I have this unit plugged in and have attached my TrackIR and X56 HOTAS and none of the peripherals work. They work just fine while plugged directly into my computer. Is there something I am doing wrong?”

If those peripherals are power hungry, you’ll need to plug in the 5v power adapter into the hub as well. It should work for all peripherals then.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found that having the hub plugged in before attaching usb cords & use the far left usb port for my external drive then the other ports. Be sure they are fully seated (plugged in).
