• No. Get a Roku. FireTV, or Nexus and connect to it. The smart will be outdated prior to tv wearing out, so you can get new streaming box.

• No it is not but that is not a need when you can buy a DVD player with smart features or an Apple TV which give you all you need and it works better than the built in
