• It will not display 100% of the same screen as a computer monitor, you lose some pixels around the edges, but it is definitely serviceable if you use it as a 2nd display or a main display if you don't need every corner displayed.

• Yes, but you would need an HDMI converter for your computer video output. There is no standard PC input like you might find on a monitor.

• Yes you can, I am currently using mine as a computer monitor, and have it connected to my laptop via an HDMI cable. The unit does not have a VGA connection.

• I think so I have hooked up my laptop to it via hdmi. Not sure if this answers your question hope this helps.

• I have not seen a vga hookup on this set but you might be able to do it through HDMI.
