I connected my Samsung Blu-ray to watch the new Star Wars dvd and it was awsome!!! It would look better on my 73" but I left in California, HD movies on HD cable look great, You won't get a oomplaint from me. Hope you enjoy your TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but it depends on the model Blu-Ray player you get. I use these televisions with PCs and they have very low lag and excellent picture. There is one problem they have with devices that use RGB color space instead of YCbCr. The colors don't look as good with RGB, but this is mostly a problem with PCs and can be fixed. If the Blu-Ray player you get can provide YCbCr color data (and most do), it will look great. There is a good article for changing color space on some Blu-Ray players from HD Guru; just google "hdguru how to properly configure a blu ray player" and you'll find it.
