No and that's the way I wanted it! Many of the negative reviews on TV sets were conductivity issues w/their "smart" sets. (Now this would NOT deter me from buying in a higher resolution set because they all are "smart" sets!) Nothing you can do about that. BUT, in this set you have a choice. Also, 40" is not that common as well. Just wish they made more TV's w/the old fashion center swivel or non-swivel stand instead of the legs which necessitate buying a wide tv stand. (If of coarse you're not wall mounting the tv.) Great tv if that's all for your budget....Now if you want to spend more $$, look at Vizio M series. $399 for 43" Vizio M Series @ BB is a steal for a much better set.
