“Just purchased the Insignia 40" class model NS-40D510NA19 yesterday. Every time I switch channels the message HDMI 2 is spoken in a loud voice. Even with the volume down low, this message is still loud. Can this message be eliminated?”

Yes I forget where in the menu but there is a way to shut off. I had the same problem after I first set up the TV. Look under settings.
