“just bought this TV ..... the picture only shows on the middle 3/4 of the screen .. there are 4 inch black areas ( top to bottom) on left and right sides How do I make sure the picture covers the whole TV screen ??”

Select the aspect button to zoom in on the picture when not watching hd sources. Just remember to undo this when switching back to a hd source.
