Do you need a sound bar with this tv? null

I think it depends on your application. Mine will be used as a bedroom TV and so I do not think a sound bar is needed. The built in speakers work good enough for bedroom watching. If this is your main TV, I'm sure the sound will be fine but a sound bar would probably make it better.
