Can this set be used as a computer monitor? null

Yes, you can hook up a computer into one of the HDMI inputs on the TV.

Usually I do not have a problem using an HDMI to HDMI connection from my laptop to the TV. However, I have had nothing but problems with this TV because of the regular Amazon updates. The last one did not allow my computer to be recognized on the HDMI input. Purchase only if you are OK turning control over to Amazon with the "smart fire" technology included. Basically you have to link the TV to an Amazon account and it will update at will, for me that is usually going right into a presentation. I used to have a Samsung and used it the same way but with no problems.
